shoes...check, gloves...check,

We were just getting the car packed, the bikes loaded on the roof, all the gear double checked...we were actually on time for once. That is when Chad discovered a that skunk was trapped in our "Have a Heart" trap that we use for groundhogs. So much for an on time departure now!

Two hours later and with a visit from Steve, the Skunk Master, we were all ready to go. Also, if you ever have to get rid of a skunk that is in a cage, the trick is to cover the cage and speak in a nice soft voice.

We got to Killington about an hour ago, checked into our condo...now this is bringing 24 hour racing to a new level, I don't know if I can go back to tent! Stacey, Jayne and Helen are somewhere between Albany and Killington and should be here in a couple of hours.

They friendly folks of Granny Gear have checked in our team and we are all set for tomorrow. If you want to keep track of our times (ie see how long it takes us to finish a lap) check out the realtime race timing system at http://www.grannygear.com/realtime/public/?view_race=grannyg_2008_killington

That is all for tonight, tomorrow things get underway. Should be fun!

The weather looks good. Noon start has 80 F degrees and dropping down to 75 by 7 PM and 60 at night, with tomorrow getting up to 70 F degrees. A little rain predicted around 7 PM, midnight, and 4 AM. Storm predicted to come from NW and just barely hit upper NY State at 2:30 PM. Will update.

Really looks like it is going to be a great day for you guys.

Good luck and have fun.

Primary path of storm is in Canada, West to East, and shouldn't affect you much.

Looks like Kathrin is doing the first lap.

Best of luck, Loggie's Ladies!

Hope you're having a great race and enjoying the condo!

At 1.32 and 1.47 per lap that means 13 to 16 total laps, I guess. Congratualations!!!!!!

Perhaps a little rain around 6; 8-10; and midnight, according to the accuweather radar.

Go ladies!!!!

You guys are hanging tough. Great lap times, very consistent.
The weather doesn't look all that great except from 10:15 to 12 seems clear on the radar. Hope the course is decent. It is a shame to go to Killington and not have good weather. Looks like it will be clear after 2:30 to 4 AM or so. A nice bright shinny morning.

Good luck and get some sleep when you can

Looks like poor weather now, but should clear after 4 AM. Looks like Jayne had some problems.
Hope all is well.
Good luck.

Don't know what's happening since Granny Gear quit along about 1 AM.

Hope all is well. After a rough night, weather should be good now.
